Our Debut Post!

I have been debating for a couple of months now whether or not I wanted to start a blog about our journey with Noah. On the one hand, I loved the idea of being able to share our story with as many friends and family members as possible, with the convenience of not having to make many time consuming phone calls relaying the same information over and over again. On the other hand, I am a lazy procrastinator (one of the many reasons I am so bad at getting around to those repetitive phone calls I just mentioned). But now that Darren has gone back to work, and I have many hours during the day by myself, I have finally decided to sit down and reach out. I hope this blog will help me to express all of the emotions I experience in my life with my new family in a way that I can't normally handle in real time conversations with my loved ones. As those of you who are close to me likely know, I often have a number of strong emotions swirling around inside of me. And you probably also know that I don't always like to reveal them to people. So I hope that this will be a safe place for me (and perhaps sometimes for Darren) to express the daily ups and downs we are experiencing as a family, while finally opening up to all of the people who so clearly care about me and my family. It is the least I can do to thank you for all of your love and support.
